Our vision is simple .... We provide quick, credible answers to apologetic questions that resource people with a hunger to defend their Christian faith.
The Bible says, "...always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." (1 Peter 3:15).
To help you engage in conversation, The One Minute Apologist set out to answer tough questions about Christianity, Bible Difficulties, Faith, Religion, Jesus, God, Atheism, Cults, Doctrine, Theology, Ethics, Science, Philosophy, World Religions, and more.
We believe more than ever before there is a great urgency for Christians to exercise their minds for the glory of God. When we study apologetics it is one way we love those who don't know Jesus Christ in a personal way. We love them by privately saturating our minds with God's truth so that we are ready to give a thoughtful Christian answer when asked.
The word "answer" or "defense" is the Greek apologia, from which we get our word “apologetics". Apologetics is simply giving answers to defend the Christian faith through the use of reason. “Reason” is the Greek logos, from which we derive our word “logical.” The Bible displays many logical and factual reasons for our hope in Christ and our passion is to help you defend the beauty of the Christian faith to a world that so desperately needs to know and experience our great Triune God.
Perhaps the most famous hymn in Christendom is John Newton's "Amazing Grace." Virtually everyone knows the lyrics to this amazing praise song.
"Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me."
That is why we chose the name "Wretched." Until a man or woman recognizes that they are indeed wretched, they cannot appreciate the cross. By calling the show "Wretched", it is a constant reminder that we all need a Savior. It also ensures that the program stays focused on what is most important, the Gospel. We also like to think the title will actually help people witness to others.
"Have you ever listened to "Wretched Radio?""Why do they call it "Wretched Radio?""Well, the Bible says that we all sin and fall short of the glory of God..."
Be assured, we did not choose this title to be silly, crass or outlandish. We chose it because it is a word that is Biblical (Paul called himself a wretched man, Rom.7:24 ), and it keeps the main thing the main thing.

At Lotsa Helping Hands, Help is our middle name. We connect people through the power of community — whether you need help or you want to provide help. You may be caring for an ill loved one, an aging parent, a child with special needs or a veteran. You may want to volunteer to help a friend or others in your neighborhood. However you define help — this is your home.
Lotsa Helping Hands powers online caring Communities that help restore health and balance to caregivers’ lives. Our service brings together caregivers and volunteers through online Communities that organize daily life during times of medical crisis or caregiver exhaustion in neighborhoods and communities worldwide. Caregivers benefit from the gifts of much needed help, emotional support, and peace of mind, while volunteers find meaning in giving back to those in need.
In generations past, the access people had to the Bible was very limited. Today, this is no longer the case. However, many people who have access to the Bible think its message does not apply to their lives. At the same time, there are others who believe there is a connection between the Bible and their every day experiences.
Over the last decade, the Internet has brought about a revolution which empowers people like never before. With the ability to share, contribute, create, broadcast and communicate, it's easy to express who we are and what we believe with the rest of the world.
Since its start in 1996, LifeChurch.tv's purpose has been to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. In doing so, we have looked for new ways to help people connect the Bible to their daily lives. Our methods have changed over the years as we've incorporated various technologies and strategies. But at the core, our focus remains on relevancy as we consistently strive to demonstrate and teach people how God's Word relates to everyone, no matter where they are in life.
YouVersion represents a new frontier in LifeChurch.tv's efforts. We aren't just building a tool to impact the world using innovative technology, more importantly, we are engaging people into relationships with God as they discover the relevance the Bible has for their lives.
